A cron expression is a string of five fields — minute, hour, day of month, month, day of week — that defines a schedule. For example, 0 9 * * 1-5 runs at 9:00 AM, Monday to Friday.
Use the expression */5 * * * *. The */5 in the minute field means "every 5 minutes".
Crontab is the classic Unix job scheduler configured with cron expressions. Systemd timers are the modern Linux alternative, offering logging via journalctl and dependency handling. CronCraft can export your schedule to both formats.
Add an on.schedule trigger with a cron expression, e.g. cron: '0 9 * * *'. GitHub Actions uses UTC and supports intervals as short as every 5 minutes. CronCraft generates the workflow YAML for you.
Yes. Kubernetes CronJob resources accept standard cron schedules in their spec.schedule field. Use CronCraft's Kubernetes export tab to generate a ready-to-apply CronJob manifest.
Yes. CronCraft is free, requires no signup, and everything runs locally in your browser — your schedules never leave your device.
